Medium: Red, yellow, and blue marker on 19”x24” Bristol Board.
#1- My first experimentation with this technique- a portrait of my 5 year old brother drawn in fall of 2008. This was also awarded the “Best of Show” award in a city-wide art exhibit hosting the various art submitted by high school students. I was 16 years old at the time of creation. Medium: red, yellow, and blue marker on paper.
#2- A photograph of my second “dot” creation- a gift for a good friend of mine in high school. Medium: red, yellow, and blue marker on paper.
#3- My third piece- this was a birthday present for a close friend. This particular one is smaller than most of my creations thus far; notice how the dots act as pixels resulting in a difference in clarity from my larger creations. This piece is 9”x14”. Medium: red, yellow, and blue marker on paper.
#4-My fourth creation using this technique- a portrait of my first dog started and finished on the night that she passed away. An 11”x17” creation. RIP Suka. Medium: red, yellow, and blue marker on paper.
#5- a portrait of my high school physics teacher. This piece was donated as a gift. A 14”x17” piece. Medium: red, yellow, and blue marker on paper.
